Saturday 21st April – a week of changes!
It’s been a busy week with the continuation of our move from Corporation Street to Central Street. AND we have tried to work as well.
The shots here are from a one to one tuition session I had with Roy West. The weather on the day he booked was so good that we just had to go out and take some shots of a few local landmarks. See if you can recognise where we went. The skies were the main point of focus for me and you can see some of my results from the mornings work:
2011 … A busy year :-)
Ruaux Photography Shop and Studio 28, Corporation Street, Bolton
2011 has been a really busy and exciting year for David and I photographing lots of fantastic people. With family portraits, weddings, babies and our lively Photoshoot Parties, it is really lovely for us to be able to share and capture some of their special moments.
Midway through the year we moved premises to across the road to no. 28, Corporation Street, Bolton where we have a much larger shop to display our work and space for our customers to view their pictures. We also have a basement where we can house our monster printer and upstairs our fabulous studio is now complete and have had our first Photoshoot Party there as well as some christmas portraits.
This year we are pleased to have been asked to be part of The Best of Bolton organisation promoting Bolton businesses. A visit to their website will show some lovely testimonials from many of our customers.
David and I love being in Bolton, despite the economic times we enjoy our work and the fantastic people we meet every day, so in my last blog for this year we both would like to thank all our customers and wish them a great 2012 – and hope to see them soon. x

This photoshoot was a special treat for grandma as she wanted a picture of herself with her 3 young grandchildren. After quite a lot of fun …. and chasing!! we were able to give her what she wanted. I have posted here just a small selection.
Best of Bolton Billboard
Commissioned over the past few months by The Best of Bolton to create some different profile pictures for several local businesses. This billboard situated on Folds Road in Bolton includes some of them.
